OK, all the [!@#%^&^] I have been through with toned Nickels and then PCGS does this!

The Jefferson looks like it has residue on it. I'm surprised they gave it the DCAM designation since they shy away from giving toned coins a CAM or DCAM designation.

 

The Silver Eagle looks awful. Sorry, but it looks like someone used chemicals on it. To me it is a no question AT coin.

 

I've seen the clad proof Ikes tone weird colors like this before. I've also seen "early" clad Washingtons tone deep purple before.

I have a Washington with similair color, and TomB has a few with that kind of toning. Real lookers! shy.gif

 

My new term for coins like that eagle is "pie" . You know, baked at 350 for 45 minutes grin.gif
