Still haven't seen one. Ah, that was quick. Not a Sacagawea fan nor specialist by any means. Just from a viewing perspective the Face and the eagle are absolutely gorgeous and no detracting marks. The field I'm not sure-something. Anyway I'll hazard a guess-MS69.

I would have to say MS68 with the peacock variety. I may be wrong but I didn't know of any tail feathers being that pronounced on regular strikes. confused-smiley-013.gif

Mike, I don't know if they would deduct anything for the scratches on the rim, but the ding in her hair would probably make it 68.

By the way, nearly all of the fifty-four 2007-P that I just sent in look as good, if not better, than yours.

There's a tick over the eagle's wing. A 69 coin can have two minor distractions like this. I say 69.

Victor, would the marks in her hair be considered as one or three?

Mike, I didn't peek at your auction, but I did take a look at the Census. I was surprised to learn that NGC has never assigned any Sacagawea Business Strike an MS69 or MS70. Will that be "good news" or a "bad omen" for me? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

68 is probably the most you can hope for - MS69- I see myself having to transfer some funds into my paypal account smile.gif

Teletrade photos (the ones you showed, I believe) washes out tics and hairlines on PL coins so they'll look better than in hand.

I doubt they do it on purpose, but it's just the way it is...

Now, you could always do what this seller does!!

Don't like the grade/designation? Just add your own decal.

I like this natural peacock better...there used to be one that would chase me during mating season when I was delivering milk one summer. I hated that dang thing.

I'm surprized someone has not done lazer printing on internal labels as of yet...wait, it's probably coming to your neighborhood soon.
