So... planning on sending your George Washington FDCs?

Looking at the excited over GW coins, I am really looking forward to the FDC covers and getting them graded by NGC (on 16th they annouce how to go about this).

 

Anyone else looking to certify their FDCs?

 

Since this is the first time and also a great opportunity to start building this collection, I am planning to keep one FDC as original (sealed) and have one FDC graded by NGC. Hopefully I can do this for each presidential release :-)

I just ordered one just to put in my collection. Not too concerned about slabbing them! Good luck to yours!

I actually sent 4 of them out today, I know they wanted us to wait but I think I'll be ok.

 

I am doing the same, ordered 5, keeping 1 sealed, keeping 1 slabbed set and getting rid of the rest.

I noticed these have doubled in price already on the bay.

Great! I think they'll contact you regarding the slabbing options (since you sent yours before their Monday announcement). I haven't seen FDCs slabbed before, so this will be really cool.

I purchased some with the plans of sending them in. I think this will be a good seller. I will be sending in all my sets as soon as they arrive.
