First Day of Issue Washington Dollars

Would NGC consider accepting a February 15th postmark as proof the coins were shipped on that first day of issue instead of forcing people to submit using expensive overnight mail?

Unfortunately, it is not possible for NGC to verify the integrity of postmarks. For this reason we must have coins in house on the release date or the day immediately following.
