have 5 rolls can they be diped or just soap and hot water. their all low grade has anybody

ever try super hot steam from a engine cleaning machine on coin's.Cleans metal real good

being just water and nothing else .I'm a little bored today

I have a set of wartime nickels, I tried using a toothbrush and toothpastes and soapy water (and thats all I ever use) and all it did was shine it up a little bit. Try that, but thats all I can recommend

I would try acetone for cleaning these. Dipping may work if the acetone doesn't work, merely because these are silver. I don't recommend brushing these at all. If any cleaning is being done, these brush marks will show. This is silver!!
