New Lincoln Cent came back today from over there

I noticed that too, Pat. Is the Ike a Peacock Ike or is it struck off-metal? As for the Lincoln cent, it looks quite nice with its rich color. Did you take the picture? It looks very good.

It (the Ike) came out of a mint set looking like that.

braddick saw it it the LB show. PCGS MS64.

The Bicentennial Ikes can frequently be found in mint sets with this solid gold toning. I believe it is the Type-2 varieties that come this way.

As for the Lincoln, if you think it's an MS68, then that is a coin that NEEDS to be tried again. That would be a super money coin - not that in MS67 it isn't.

That coin in MS68 in either slab is a MAJOR money coin. I would try it at NGC for the grade. Across the street they seem to have a hang-up with making a money coin, much less making a money coin where there is no undergrade.
