I can't think of a coin that has a future year on it except...

the Missouri quarter which I rec'd today in a proof set. This is very trivial, but I don't know of any coin IN CIRCULATION that has a future year somewhere on it.

 

(In the case of the MO quarter it is 2004, written not as the mintage year, of course, but as commemorating 1804-2004 "Corps of Discovery.")

 

My proof set is stunningly beautiful by the way.

Not only that, but this coin has 4 dates on it. That has to be a record.

Well, not any more, but back in 1975 all the new quarters, halves and dollars had future dates on them.

Was common on classic commems. The 1935 Arkansas commem had dates of 1935 and 1836 and 1936.

The Lafayette commemorative dollar was dated 1900, but all the coins were actually struck in 1899; all were minted exactly 100 years to the day after George Washington died.

Don't forget the VA quarter has four dates on it, including 2007.
