1891 is a meaningless date to most people. The logo looks unfinished and poorly done.

While I really do not like the current logo (or, is that immediately-past logo?) I must write that this logo looks amateurish and reminds me of something that should be on a tourist bar/restaurant that has a tropical theme. I don't care for it and I don't see how it speaks to people and tells them anything, contrary to what the writeup states.

It does not struck me as being very dramatic, although it is somewhat informative. I think that a more representative coin image would work better.

Just... weak. I thought the old logo was recognizable. The new one I would expect to see as a shop logo at most... not th logo for the ANA.

No, I think that it's ugly.

 

The old symbol with the lamp of knowledge was a better symbol of what the ANA SHOULD be about. This new thing looks cheap and comercial, which at times is what the ANA IS about.

A total of 136 Nays and 17 Yeas.

 

In the forums that had actual polls, I only counted the votes. On the forums that did not have polls, I only counted Yeas and Nays not inbetweeners or those that I couldn't figure out (there weren't many).

I'm an ANA Life Member and I don't recall ever seeing anything about this change before it happened. That's not to say that they couldn't have told us, I just don't remember it.

There was not vote by members. I am not even sure there was a vote by the board. I believe this was chosen by the Exec Director.

if they the ANA were on the bomb squad they would always pick the wrong wire to cut

 

so if you always did the opposite you would have not only a long life but a successful retirement as such.........
