1880 Indian Head Cent

This coin has been in my family for a number of years and I was wondering what grade it would get and it might be worth. I'll have to figure out whether the picture posts or not.

I think the coin has the overall look of an F12 and think the value closer to $5. It looks problem-free and attractive.

I came up with my grade before reading the other posts. I called it VG-10.

 

As for value, probably pretty high on the sentimental scale.

You're right, it is definitely worth more to me to keep it. I appreciate the responses.

Although not worth much monetarily, it does have a nice original look to it, so you want to refrain from any attempts at cleaning\polishing it. Just get yourself a cardboard 2x2 holder and put it away for safe keeping.
