Finally got pictures for all of my coins..

I just rescanned my coins for my Peace Dollar set. They look much more like the real coin than those pictures from my old scanner. The old scanner turned everything blue and/or green

 

One of these days, I will photograph these coins under indirect (diffused) white (Halogen) light and repost again. I bet a Picker "Cold Light" from a Photograph Enlarger machine would make a terrific light source. Or a "DiChromic color enlarger head with color correction (you could make the colored coin surfaces perfect tone reditions.

That is a chatter mark on the chin of my 1935-P Peace Dollar. There is also some small friction in the left field. That is why it is a MS65, not 66. The reverse is the same with a few luster breaks keeping it from a higher grade (see scan).
