King Farouk 1933 Double Eagle for sale on eBay

The eBay board police booted my threads on this coin on their coin boards. The starting bid is only $300.00!

I just feel bad for the person that bid $300 for a $19.95 gold plated reproduction! And it looks like the seller even used the photos of the real 33. Shameful!

Report it to ebay. No where in there is there anything that states that this is not a coin. The difficult to find link for ebay reporting scams is here.

Tom; This seller was reported to Safe Harbor. The only thing that was pulled were the posts on eBay's coin board.

I "know" the current high bidder and he will not get taken advantage of.

The auction has been ended! I guess mark isn't going to get to own that 1933 Double Eagle.

Maybe he was trying to win just to bust the seller.
