Picked this up from "RGT" Randy. The pics he posted are great and I think the coin in hand is MUCH better than the pics! The coin actually has PL qualities (I think, but I am a relative newbie).

I am partial to this year - NICE COIN Eric

The 1940 proof Lincoln from the new set of 1936-42 proof cents I just purchased. This one is designated RD by PCGS. I know, it doesn't look red to me either, but I'm not cracking it out. ;) I also believe the reverse is cameo, but not the obverse.

I actually agree with you on all counts except that it looks RD to me if the toning was not there. Nice Lincoln Bob.

This is the first Merc I ever bought and honestly don't know how to grade them, so I don't know if its good, avg or bad for the grade.

It's currently in a PCGS MS66FB holder.

I'm going to do a year set for my Dad's birthyear.

That's is a great looking CBD Count. Your Buffalo is glowing Fish. 'tis a beauty, but what Buffalo isn't. Paul you sure have a way about finding those great toners. Well done!!

I seen those toners on the bay Paul and was going to bid but backed out at the last minute. Since I really don't collect that series. But they do look very nice!

I needed a silver clad Kennedy toner for my 20th Century type set. I will keep the one that looks nicer in hand.

Nice Jefferson !

This arrived today to add to a birthyear set.... My Dad's birthyear, so don't go thinking I'm that old yet ;)

I really don't know Cents and purchased this sight unseen. The vertical mark above the R on the OBV is on the slab. While I like it I'm surprised it graded what it did as it seems to have a lot of little nicks. It's in a PCGS MS65RD holder. Is 65 right for this ? or did it go through on a lucky day ?
