it's a pcgs slab, but the grade was XF-40

Dang I was off a little there huh Jeff? Most of the time I go by the eagle feathers on these and they just looked a little weak to be that high. Glad I was wrong.

Nice coins added to collections since my last post here! (thumbs u Won this one last night and my first CAC coin:

Stack's October Auction E-vents

1910 MS-66 RB (NGC) (CAC).

A splendid Gem example, mostly brilliant at the centers deepening to brown toward the borders with pink and blue iridescent highlights.

Well...here it is...the moment you have all been anxiously waiting for, my next, "I'm not quite sure why I bought this" coin. The detached leg isn't that spectacular...it's more like a birth defect...

Wow it's been a while since I've been here and it seems like the coins get more and more interesting each time I come back.

Here's a new one from just the other day. It's my first 1oz. Gold Eagle Unc :)

I thought it was time to buy some gold.

Here's a relatively new purchase that I just finished imaging for my registry set. This is the first classic commem that I have added in a while. The market for these seems to be getting weak and some deals can be found

Nice Iowa Commem! That's one of the commem's that can easily be found in higher grades. It's my only MS-67 in my early commemorative set. It's a great design and a great coin. Enjoy!
