Wow,

Is that a new acquisition? Either way it does not matter that is one beautiful Fugio my friend.

Thanks, it is on its way to me now. It is a straggler from the Juliana Rose Collection that sold @ B&M last month :)

That's the sharpest fugio I've seen. Is there a grade on that? Either way, very nice (thumbs u

PCGS AU55. I got outbid on the MS62 @ the B&M auction ... that I happened to have sold to the owners of the Julianna Rose collection a couple of years ago. This one I just picked up on ebay ...

BTW - it is only a New Haven Restrike ...

I used to own a 63RB in PCGS OGH......loved that coin. For those that don't know how to tell the difference right off the bat....the rings on the reverse are much thinner than on the normal fugio's (thumbs u

You use my image of the obverse as your avatar across the street

I don't know much about Fugios although I've admired them when I've seen them. When were the restrikes struck?

I think most people believe they were stuck in the 1860's if my memory is correct?

Here is a link to some info....

Thanks guys, here are a few new Morgans. The toners are from Shane and I think they are great coins and photos.

I thought I recognized them when you posted them on Stef's website, and I asked if you got them from Shane.

Nice!

The one I wanted got away. It was the 80-CC. $800 wasn't good enough, but that was all I could afford.

Irv- wonderful Gold Double Eagle - looks almost flawless and

those Morgans...simply amazing. They are absolutely stunning.

Congratulations. You've got a good eye. :applause:

I was able to pick something up at Fort Worth myself but

I am at work and "can't play with coins"... (shrug)

I'll post later on tonight.

Chris - I have been upgrading quite a few of my Halves in the 2nd set;

I've also helped a number of others locate the coins they need in the

grades they wanted them in.

I have completed three sets for friends - and also for myself - and I

throughly enjoy it. The best part of collecting is the hunt - and helping

fellow collectors.

I'm glad to add another fellow Barber collector as a friend.

Although I have upgraded quite a few Barbers in all denominations,

my interests have branched out...

Here's my NEWP:
