Thanks guys. Once these coins arrive my stepfather and I will only need 1 coin to complete the 13 coin set and we'll be ranked ~15 in the category.

Just upgraded the Half in my 1889 Proof Set.

Currently I have a PCGS PR 64. This newp is

in a PCGS 65 CAM - which happens to be a

POP-TOP with 3 in 65 CAM and None Finer in CAM.

[ Edit to change the POP total; the catalog said it was a

POP 2 coin; I just checked the PCGS POP Report and

its really a POP 3 coin. ]

The marks are on the old holder. Its going back to

PCGS for True View imaging and a new holder.

Gorgeous Seated half Mike. :cloud9: What was the reason for the target date of 1889?

My Grandfather was born in 1889. Although pleased with the Half

already in the set, the low POP of this coin pushed me to upgrade.

As a side note, my Grandmother was born in 1898 and I upgraded

the Philadelphia version of the Half in my Mint Set, from MS 64 to MS 65.

From Ebay for my dansco. Slightly below my grade range but it looks so nice I couldn't resist.

From the bay state coin show in Boston. I couldn't find any coins that I needed so I put a little money into a world silver set that my wife is actually supporting me buying :o It's making for a nice display...

Some of the holders are a little scuffed which looks worse in images than it does in hand.

I placed the order for this about a week ago, but because of issues on the other end it probably won't ship for another week. The price on these earlier pandas tends to creep up.

The newer "pronged" holders are gradually starting to enter my sig set. This is the 3rd 1 ounce bullion coin that I have in the new holder. I think they look nice in the holder, but the coin's size clearly tests the limits of the available space in the slab.
