It's been 3 days since I got a new coin in the mail and man was it rough :frustrated:

and look and the polish lines all over the reverse.....coming out of the eagles mouth etc. There is a dash uner the second 8 in the date which is listed as a Vam 3 from what I can see in the book....

Only 3 or 4 days! Geez, it's been 3 or 4 weeks since I got anything, and that was 2 GSA Morgans. Take a look at this.

...............and that's not all! This is the VAM5A. It has the clashed "n" and the diagonal gouge in the left wing (viewer's right) is a good diagnostic.

1957 and 1958 are the wonder years for toning. There was something special about mint sets in those years, such that coins from them are spectacularly toned far more than average. This is to by no means imply that wonderful rainbows on these years are common by any stretch of the imagination, they are just less rare than other years. Joe's Frankie is still spectacular even for these great years. Below are a trio of well matched blue toned coins from 1958 that I just purchased tonight from Shane.
