Dwaine,

Nice Bust coins - very nice indeed.

I'm also very partial to Reduced Size Bust Quarters.

==========================================

Here's my newest half for the Whitman - the PCGS slab is now toast... :o

I took these images at work "on the fly" and no thought was given

to correct lighting conditions...as a matter of fact, I turned off the

overhead florescent lights, just relying on natural daylight and the

flash from the digital camera.

Every, single coin shown on this page is exceptional from the beauty of the blues of the proof Washington to Ant's Snoopy to Kevin's Classic head gold to Shane's nice accumulation of types (I especially love that toned seated half!). But perhaps my favorite coin of them all, ironically, is probably among the least expensive. That coin is Dwaine's 1835 Draped Bust dime in VF. It has the most perfect look that other circulated coins only wish they had. Very nice coins, everyone!

I was lucky to find my latest purchase, an NGC F12 1795 plain edged half cent. With this purchase, I only have one more copper coin to purchase to close the lot. The remaining copper is the 1793 half cent. It is a pricey coin so I don't know when I'll be able to pick one up but someday, yes....it shall be mine...whaaah-ha-ha-ha

Oh, and I picked up this lovely half dime on the Marketplace tonight. I've been looking forever to find a half dime type like this. Thanks, Rob! (thumbs u

Fun coin for $30 bought off e-bay with lousy seller images.

You do not need to spend an arm and a leg to get your hands on some fun coins (especially between large purchases) these days, this is an 1810 Classic Head that still has some definition left in the devices. What was fun with this coin, it turned out to be an 1810/09 Although faint due to wear, in hand under 10X magnification, you can still make out the 0 under the 1 and the tail of the 9 below the 0 in 10.

I was glad to see some dentils still remaining on the reverse and a portion Miss Liberty’s ear still visible.

I would grade the 198 year old chocolate brown copper as between G-4 and G-8 or a G-6. I did not notice any EV damage just good honest wear, the images have been lightened to show detail.

Have fun! Explore! They don't all have to be diamonds, grab a handful of gravel and take a chance...you might be surprised.

Wow, Ant! :applause: I love that '55 proof penny. :)

Well, ladies and gents, it's finally done; I found the last coin I needed for 1 of the 16 year sets I'm working on. The 1932 set is now (as far as I'm concerned) complete. This MS64 1932-D quarter could be the jewel of any number of wonderful sets. Completely beautiful and problem free.

My most recent addition to my rainbow Jefferson war nickel set, a stunning MS67* and one of only 7 in existence.

Well, after a lot of back and forth and haggling I agreed to a price for buying these from another registry member. Both are NGC MS67FT. The 1955 S is a Pop 15 with none finer (though there are 4 MS68s, non-FT, I guess it depends on how you define "finer"). The 1956 D is a Pop 16 with 1 finer (and the 1 belongs to Paul Kiraly)
