I just won auctions for 2 more lincoln cents. A 1937-D MS66RD and a 1927-P MS64RB. I won both of them uncontested. No one else bid. The 1937-D is the same grade I've been after all along, should be a good coin, the 1927-P is way lower than I'd normally go for but it's the oldest cent I've gotten so far and it only cost me about $20.... I don't know, it's only the 2nd EARLY wheat I've been able to get. the pictures are horrible, I guess I'll decide if it was a good idea when it gets here.

I actually think the pictures contributed to no one else bidding....

Mailman was good to me last week! The first is a nice 1823 bustie that I bought from Ed Richter off eBay (I didn't think I'd win it, but I did and was able to use an eBay $10 off coupon to boot!):

The next is a 1913-D Saint, nothing too special, but an upgrade for my set (it actually looks better in hand, but my photo skills are lacking!):

I had posted this on the Numimatic Tangents Forum inquiring about it's origin, or any other information. Thanks to Chris, Tom and others who provided me with great resources this afternoon to better understand this piece.

1892 Liberty Head Dollar (So Called Dollar) HK-220. (251-500 pieces known - is that correct Chris?)

As Tom B described it in so many words, perhaps not value but coolness is the attraction of this piece, and I totally agree.

$28.00
