This one is considerably rarer than the 1856.

Total mintage of 80?!! :o Yep, I call that rare!

Is it graded? If so, what is the grade?

Those are awesome flying eagles. There just aren't really words for it.

As for me, I'm continuing the try an build a SHQ set on a shoe-string budget. This weeks "target of opportunity" is pictured below. If the coin isn't in the grade I want or if it'll cost more than about $15 after shipping I consider it a "no go." That really restricts my buying opportunites but I still hope to eventually have either a top 50 or top 75 set (I'm trying not to get too ambitious, yet).

Nice coins, everyone! I haven't found much to buy recently, but came across this coin at the show sponsored by the Gorham Coin Club (my local club) last weekend. The Mint hand engraved the outer leaf on the second, right laurel cluster of almost all working dies pressed from Obverse Hub A, but a few slipped through, giving us the missing leaf varieties. There are missing leaf varieties for each year that Obverse A was used, 1866 through the beginning of 1869. This coin is the first missing-leaf variety from 1869 that I've found in mint state condition.

I'm tempted to say "yes" just to make you doubly envious. lol But, while it might be the flag or base of a misplaced 1, it's far from conclusive. Which means, for all practical purposes, that it's not. Good eyes, though!

Just picked up this 1898-S on eBay - looks like

a nice coin. As there isn't any return priviledge on

certified coins, I better love it when it arrives.

Its in an ANACS AU 58 holder:

leeg,

Very nice 1833 Half Cent - my favorite design of that series.

Looks very clean for a MS 64. IMHO.
