Silver. Got it off Ebay for a very reasonable price, just kept watching and waiting.

Irvin, yes as far as I know it is the first US "coin" to depict trains in the design.

After promising Sy (SkyMan) not to ever split up these matched toned obverse and toned reverse pair of Tequila Sunrise Morgans, I was able to steal them from his incredible Battle Creek hoard. I'll bet he misses them already. :D I'm proud to have them as part of my collection.

I thought the Eagles sang Tequila Sunrise. And, yes, I like the 2nd '85 Morgan with that Key West sunset.

The Kennedy Half I got in a trade with Michael Dixon....sent him a Circulated Morgan and he sent me this in return, which I thought was more than a fair trade. hm so Thanks again Micheal :foryou:

In case you didn't notice it's a double profile.

Cool. I didn't notice that but it is so obvious now. doh!

Is that from doubled dies or machine doubling?

Bob, I'm glad you like those coins. Obviously I think very highly of them or I wouldn't have bought them in the first place. :applause: I'm glad you're giving them a good home.

Shane, nice Morgan, and that Kennedy looks to have some distinct cameo contrast. :applause:

Ibuyandsell, sweet looking '66 DDO Kennedy! :applause:

It is a doubled die, in an NGC holder. Sorry I'll post a picture of the whole thing as soon as my battery charges, man I'm so excited.

Let me guess..............is it a 1966SMS?

Also, check the eye, ear, IGWT and the designer initials for doubling.
