Mike, EXCELLENT looking gold piece!!! 893applaud-thumb.gifthumbsup2.gif I'm looking forward to the write-up on it.

Talking about write-ups, Boiler78, you ought to do some write-ups on your pieces... the backgrounds etc.

DD, that's a nice looking Kennedy. Some good toning going on. thumbsup2.gif

Pendragon, that's an attractive War nickel. Nice luster to it. thumbsup2.gif

Zach gave me a couple imaging pointers and I attempted to set my custom white balance. Please feel free to comment on the images as well as the coins. The pictures are better right 893crossfingers-thumb.gif893scratchchin-thumb.gifwink.gif

Thanks Zach.

Mike, these are the first and only images I have of these two coins. I did re-image a bunch of other coins, so once I format them I’ll be able to show some before and after type pictures.

Here's one I've had in mind for years, and finally came accross a specimen that looked worthwhile to actually buy. Thanks Doug Winter (I had to use his photo because I don't have it yet).

edited to add: I'll post a writeup on it as soon as my hand recuperates so I can do the typing and I get some reading done as well.

Awesome piece of history there Mike!
