Elbesaar
Sweet looking Commems everyone. Here's a Liberty Head Nickel I just won on Superior's auction the other day. Its part of a mint set I'm building. The funny thing is that this nickel cost five times the price of the same graded proof example.

Elbesaar
Thanks RRANTIQUE for posting the images. If you check out the CoinForum.ORG's web site, you'll see I've become very prolific in posting images. Their soft ware is a breeze in posting images. Regardless of how often I try and post images here, - regardless of all the well intentioned help rendered - I'm still having problems. Maybe the powers that be here at NGC could check out the posting procedure at CoinForum.ORG, and adapt it to this Forum as well. Should that happen, you'll all be sick and tired of my continuous postings. I'm having a ball over there posting my Barber Halves. Its just too bad that noone over there collects them... and if they do, they have not made their presence known. The Megathread at PCGS is at approximately 670 posts and they have some fantastic coins imaged. I seem to have gotten carried away posting there and only a handful of others post occasionally. [ BTW, I no longer have any problems posting images over at PCGS, once I got the hang of it... but its still too convoluted to suit me, as it is here. ] Okay... I've ranted long enough. Thanks again for posting my images - thanks to all for helping me over these past few years !!

robec1347
Latest MPL's. These three were acquired from forum member chinook, aka Dave Kelly. Since 4 of my 7 have been supplied by Dave, I should call my Registry, "Chinook West". Thank you Dave.

robec1347
Thanks Carl, Chad, Rey, Irvin and Bobby. I couldn't be happier (unless the '09 VDB would have been one of them). Chad, are you collecting Pre-Darkside coins now? That loods like a Greek coin. What is it? Pretty cool. Just think, at one time that was considered modern *spoon*. SkyMan
Chad, that's a fun coin! Nice R&R. I guess technically it would still be considered a Roman coin as the Byzantine empire started later. Bob, WHEEEEYOOOOO!!! Them's be some Beeeeyuuuutiful MPLs!!! Nice pickups. Just for interests sakes, when were MPLs minted?
robec1347
Thanks Sy. MPL's were minted from 1909-1916. One for each year with the exception of 1909. In 1909 they minted a 1909 and a 1909 VDB (which is the holy grail). Mintages on all were miniscule compared to todays proofs. Mintages range from about 400 (VDB) to about 2500. I've read from different forum members that the 1916 only has a mintage of around 600 despite what the reported mintages say.

Bob that is why I went Canon. I will have 2 camera's now. That shutter on this baby is amazing! Body Frame is alot more durable as well. It is pretty much the same as the Rebel in the settings. The buttons are all reworked in different spots. It should be great fun! Hey bob wanna give me some lighting tips?? I am serious. You get some great lighting on your coins.
