TJ, I'm very impressed with everyone of you half dollar purchases! You have a good eye! thumbsup2.gif

Dooly, you can never go wrong with a classic head large cent. 893applaud-thumb.gif

i think you cut the steps a litle too short to see. FS is plainly seen steps with no merging or cuts on any steps. They can be 5 or the ultimat 6.

Nice coins Gents!

Lee, I quite like the '03 and the '58. Is the Liberty nickel on a copper planchet? I just saw one (1906) at my local coin club meeting on monday that was struck on an Indian head cent planchet. That '58 looks quite well struck for a '58-P BTW. I can't tell from the image if the lower bell lines are full, but given the rest of the coin I'm assuming they are. '58-P's with fbl are a significantly tougher coin to find (even given mintage differences) than '58-D's.

Unfortunately these two coins had been cleaned so they were sent off to ANACS for grading. Both came back MS 60 Details, 1837 50C and 1859-O $1. Still happy to have them in my collection.

Wow! a lot of neat coins. That's a very nice bust dime and slq, Winston.

Congrats on your piece( saint), Chad.

re the seated dollar (rbrown4)...wow...It's so hard to find them with such detail and then unfortunately it's been cleaned improperly. Maybe storing it in a kraft envelope for a few years would help it (out of it's holder).

edited to distinguish who i was referring to
