White Spots on Steel Cents

Can NCS remove those white spots that affect steel cents? I have one that has light white spots (doesn't look like it has eaten into the metal) that I was considering having conserved. Has NCS had any luck in removing these spots?

Greg,

 

I would have to see the coins first hand. We have had a few of these come in and the spots are often similar and appearance but different in how well they conserve. More often than not they come right off, but some are actually stains that do not come off well.

Bring a few to Long Beach if you get a chance so I can take a look at them.
