Number of Designations

How many designations can a coin get? For example, I have a Roosevelt dime that is fully prooflike, has a Full Torch, and has exceptional eye appeal. Will this coin grade MS6x FT PL * or will NGC only give so many designations to a coin?

Greg,

 

NGC has no limits on the amount of designations a coin can attain. For instance, your example of a Roosevelt Dime could indeed receive the designations of FT for Full Torch, PL for Proof-Like, and a star * notation.

 

As many designations that are enabled for a series can all be assigned to a coin so long as the coin meets all of the requirements for those designations.
