1996 D penny double ear? 1 1

Hello, 

This is probably not a double ear, but I wanted to make sure. Also there is a die crack near liberty. Thanks for any help! 

 

Most of my pictures were supposedly to large. These are the only ones that were small enough. Let me know if you need better photos.

    The depression in Lincoln's ear appears to be a gouge (damage), and I could find no listing for a 1996-D doubled die obverse variety that manifests itself as a doubled ear on NGC VarietyPlus (Lincoln Cents, Memorial Reverse (1959-2008) | VarietyPlus® | NGC), doubleddie.com, or varietyvista.com.

   The raised area above "TY" is a plating blister, which is all-too common on copper plated zinc cents, not a die crack.

Not a die crack just a linear plating bubble, also not the double ear.

The only legitimate die crack on any U.S. coin is the one on the Liberty Bell, but the entire Forum rejects that notion. Nothing personal, I'm sure!  🤣

Say, if you can safely remove that tourmaline deposit from Lincoln's double ear -- an ERROR    of enormous magnitude, we can move it on a reputable platform like Etsy for five grand which I would be honored to split with you even Steven right down the middle. You know me. Always keep my word. Good for it if I don't. Beloved by all on the Forum but @The Neophyte Numismatist . 🤣  Happy Sunday to all!
