Good morning, Kings and Queens. I am confused about the date on this coin. I have the "Red Book" to reference, but I need to know the correct date. Right? Thanks in advance.

Why do you need the correct date for a cent that is damaged and worn out?

My favorite lines to certified liars...

A particularly clever hustler who's a legend in his own mind approaches me...

HE:  How's my credit?

ME:  Well, you don't owe me anything.

HE:  So the books are good!  My credit's good!  You know me!  You know I'm good for it!

ME:  If your credits good, you don't need me.  There are six banks only a block from where we're standing right now. [in Union Sq. Pk.]  You got the Bk of Amer., Banco Popular, Chase, Citibank, Republic and T.D. bank... You're choice.

HE:  (gives me a dirty look and steps off.)

No mystery, it is a 1950 with damage to the date.

More completely, it is a 1950-D cent with damage to its obverse. Our OP needs to explain what’s unclear.

I have a question as you did not post a photo of the reverse of this cent. To be sure of the date, does the reverse have the wheat ears on it or does it have the Lincoln Memorial on it?
