You may want to reconsider this. Being the zinc core of this cent is now fully exposed to the environment without the copper plating to protect it, the zinc is highly reactive to the environment, and this coin even sitting in a drawer if exposed to humidity in the air will quickly develop zinc rot which will spread quickly and literally eat the coin away. We typically advise to spend coins such as this as soon as possible and while you are still able to.
