Odd damage on Rim below "Trust" and on the lower (3-4) right side?

It looks like it could be a small delamination. There is another one on the rim below TRUST.

But even if it is a legitimate "mint error", it is not the kind of thing that would be worth more than silver value.

Oh, now I see. The OP is blaming the damage on a cat. Well, this time I have to defend the common house cat. The metal in a dime was too hard for a cat's teeth or claws to damage like that.

It’s a catasstrophy, or a cat mounted backward.
