Tom9145
I'm curious if this could have been double stamped when minted, and if there's any value to it. Thanks!
Greenstang
Not double struck, It is a damaged coin, probably intentional. A coin struck in collar cannot be elongated, it had to happen after the coin was ejected. The Neophyte Numismatist
Tom9145
Thanks, I guess it's worth $.01, or maybe less. It won't fit in a roll of pennies...

powermad5000
Coins are struck, not stamped (although RWB will say this statement is wrong). I see incuse reverse partial lettering which says right there this did not happen at the Mint. Also, off center strikes or partial brockages still have the round shape of a coin. This elongated shape is not commensurate with how coins are struck.
