Fake Transylvania 1 wide Garas - Gábor Bethlen coin? 2 2

Would appreciate some help with this one.
Found at an auction, but for that kind of money I would like to sure.
Red flag for me: Looks a cast copy.
+- 25mm wide, no weight info.

The only help I can offer is a photo of a 1621 Denar I own that is PCGS certified.  Smaller coin but same time period.

Hi,

It is not a fake coin. What you found is a 1626 wide groschen, Nagybánya mint, Transylvania. It is actually the most common year and coin issued by Gabriel Bethlen (there are around 200 variants, if not more).

The issue with providing an exact reference is that the crown on the obverse is completely battered.

Without that mint element visible, you end up with a pool of around 50-60 possibilities.
