1978 NMM ODM Jefferson Nickel that is a variety?

Hello everyone! I found this coin after having investigated multiple other nickels like this of my own and on the PCGA CoinFacts app and it seems as though most of the time the die between the L and I in “Liberty” clash together but in this one it doesn’t do that at all. 
 

thoughts?

Worn, damaged -- entirely typical and no added value.

They were all like that in 1978  . When comparing coins, make sure you compare with the same year as ther can be small variations from year to year.

I would note to @Greenstang's comment, to compare the same mintmark as well as the same year when comparing your coin to other samples. Even the different mints have slight differences in the strikes of their coins. We seem to have come to a loose consensus in the forum here that the Denver mint had better quality strikes overall.
