KevinRK
Still trying to get something right Weight is 2.5g would I be correct calling this an RPM? If it is RPM would you agree it's a type 10 (I found this on http://www.varietyvista.com/02b LC RPMs Vol 2/1989DRPM010.htm)? Are the boxes useful for showing the tilt or are there standards for this type of photo? Edited February 13 by KevinRK
Just Bob
It can't be RPM -10 since all coins struck from that obverse die would look alike, and the position of the mint mark on your coin is far to the right of the example on Variety Vista.
ThePhiladelphiaPenny
I don't fully know the definition of a RPM, but this just looks like a normal coin to me.
Greenstang
Agree wwith Just Bob, variety 10 has the mm under the 9, yours is under the 8. Tee location has to be exact.
Mike Meenderink
This is a normal cent. No match for any Variety. Value 1c
KevinRK
I agree 10 is wrong. Not sure where I got that but 002 or east seems to line up. http://www.varietyvista.com/02b LC RPMs Vol 2/1989DRPM002.htm I definitely cannot see the interior due to the terrible condition but the outside of the d looks, position and angle looked right. Not interested in value just if I’m identifying things correctly. Thoughts?
