  It's a 1912-D Barber dime (common date) in just barely Good condition (well-worn), with a retail list value in Coin World of $5.50. I doubt that a dealer would pay half that for it.

This coin might get knocked down to AG or retain a G details grade for the corrosion spots on it from environmental damage on the obverse. I would think a dealer would only give you maybe $1 for it if they were to take it at all. Many dealers wont take coins in this condition unless they are key dates because they will have a hard time finding a buyer for them.

There are a number of factors, such as the number the particular coin minted, the grade of the coin, etc.

Right off hand the market value seems to be about $5.
