Question about NGC Registry Points

It is my understanding that the points are assigned by the following guidelines...

The NGC Registry assigns a point score to each coin based on the relative rarity of its type, date and grade as well as many other factors, including its certified population and market value.

I recently added a few colorized coins to the NGC Lunar Series 1 population.  These have a much lower mintage than their counterparts.  2 of them are the only MS70's in the census, and 1 of them is the only graded coin for the certified population.

However when I look at the scores they received, every MS70 for the standard coins has 1771 points, but yet these are only 1181.  Even the standard MS69 are 1553 and score higher than the much lower mintage MS70's.

Is this due to their not being a "market value" for them since the colorized coins do not change hands that often?

For reference my set can be viewed here https://www.ngccoin.com/registry/competitive-sets/468090/  and the coins in question are the colorized versions for the Monkey, Rooster, Pig, and especially the Dog which is the key for the series with only 2359 minted
