I want to know how to certify a coin and what procedures I have to follow.

    Welcome to the NGC chat board. 

   The "NGC Registry" forum is for questions about the Registry, which is for coins that have already been certified.  Your question should have been posted to the "Ask NGC/NCS forum. However, you can find detailed instructions for how to submit coins to NGC by reviewing the topics under the "Submit" tab at the top of the NGC home page (ngccoin.com), especially the first three topics, "How to Submit", "Coins We Grade & Policies", and "Services and Fees".  The fourth topic includes fillable submission forms.

   You should only submit a coin to a grading service if you have sufficient knowledge to estimate the grade and value of the coin yourself so that it will be worthwhile to incur the fees and costs involved.  Otherwise, it would be wise to consult with an established dealer or experienced collector first.
