What is the process where NGC starts attributing a particular variety?  Does someone have to make a formal request/suggestion, etc.?

Hello @Gileshokie, to submit a coin not listed in the VarietyPlus resource, you will want to state on the submission form that you are submitting for consideration as a new variety and include a description of the coin's unique characteristics, as well as the variety number.
