Generating some overlays this morning, if anyone wants some made drop some photos here and I'll see what I can do. The photos need to be as straight on as possible and let me know if coin or medal alignment.

Helps me better identify areas to look for strike weakness and/or explains problem areas that I notice on coins I collect. 

On the 1/10 Angels there are areas of weakness that I always look for. 1) Detail on the inner left wing. 2) The inner most primary feather on the left wing can sometimes be completely missing. 3) The connecting arch from tip to tip on the dragon's wing is often weak or missing. 4) Weakness at the nape of the neck on the effigy. 5) Detail on the inner right wing. 6) The band of the diadem and specifically the spray running from the band to the center of the cross-pattée, this can be "floating" on occasion. 

I assumed that these areas were across from other details, or very close, but the overlay confirmed it and helps me better remember/visualize it. Now I know.

You should develop an app for this, I have seen many confused souls looking for this answer. You have made it have class.
