Vam grading for Morgan Silver Dollars

If a coin was graded several years ago and received a Vam 7 (for example on the 1880 cc) and now NGC recognizes both the Vam 7 and Vam 7A, would the coin when it originally graded look for the Vam 7A?  I ask because the Vam 7A has been added to our registry list and perhaps my Vam 7 is a Vam 7A.  Is there a cost for this submission to identify the Vam 7A.  Thank you.

Hello @Joyce C Novitzke, thank you for contacting us. Yes, the coin would have been originally reviewed for both the Vam 7 and Vam 7A. However, if you'd like your coin to be reviewed once again, you may send your coin in with just the VarietyPlus service checked on the submission form, and your coin will be reviewed once again for its variety.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
