I helped to pay your bills andI helped to pay your taxes. But today I am old, and you call me DAMAGED.

But I know and guarantee you, that I still have my value.

I agree with NGC. Definately a spender. Only worth 25 cents. Was a waste of money having it graded. It would have to be in a very high mint state to be worth grading.

Hallo Tigerbait,

There is a time to sell, and there is a time to conserve. This beauty, as you lovingly call this beautiful coin, is to conserve. The story behind this beautiful coin will once be revealed.

May I be curious and ask you, why are you interested in this coin ?

You call it beauty, although of course each one can perceive this differently.

This coin, called Mr. D (Damaged), was once :

-  circulated

-  scratched at the surface

-  tumbled many times to the floor,  in garages, on parking lots, in shopping malls, and so on and so forth … and

-  today it is simply old

So my question is, why are you interested in this „beauty“ ?

I thank you and I am looking forward to your  feedback, and in the meantime  I remain with best regards,

Joko

What leads you to believe your damaged coin is worth 100,000.00 dollars?  Even in pristine condition, it would only be worth a small percentage over its face value.  You should crack the coin out of its holder and spend it on one of your story's virtuous examples so it will once again have some intrinsic value.

Hello dear C. Urch,

Thank you for your kind comments. I must say that I was very pleased to hear from  you, and your reflections on 'the pace of life'

This coin, called Mr. D (Damaged), is our property. Thanks for your understanding :-)

Talk About It (Values)… , although of course each one can perceive this differently.

Thank you .  Let's have fun and a lot of  humor by collecting :-)…make life easier.

Kind regards,

It looks like Mr. D has a hole under the ear.  It was probably a case of being in the right place at the wrong time.  It matters not.  That coin is still as strong as the day she was made and can still keep up with her peers!

Hallo dear Tigerbait,

Yes, you are right.  Since even every stone has its own story,  so every coin has its own story as well and every human being has its own story. And I agree that the coin is still strong and going strong : )) . Let’s have fun collecting coins.

Thank you for your deep reflections about Mr. D. And have a great day.

Kind regards,

Joko
