Straight clips on coins

Question for the graders....I have many coins with curved clips or double curved clips as mint errors and can see how that would happen in the minting process. My question is when a coin has a straight clip, is there a way in the minting process that a coin could end up with a straight clip, or are all straight clips man made?

A straight clip occurs when a planchet is punched out from the edge of the metal strip (which is straight.) They are legitimate errors that happen accidentally.
