1969-S penny figuring out what type of doubling

Hi there everyone, would this be die deterioration doubling. The forehead, nose, chin and eye is looking not normal. Thanks for any advice on this.

Looked at the link, thanks JP. I'm thinking we're right die deterioration and maybe MD. I'll hang on too it for a bit and study it for awhile. Interesting piece though.

Hi Joe!!

I looked at your photos and I've been giving your coin some thought and I actually think it's both.  I think you have both machine doubling and die deterioration doubling on your coin.  It definitely wouldn't be the first time I saw both on a U.S. coin from the late 1960's.  They really overused the dies in that era.
