Are these two Proof Cameo Quarters both Type 2? 1 1

The first is an 1979-S the second is an 1981-S

Im putting together a 1981 S type 2 proof set and want to be sure before I encapsulate it

The bottom picture is a type 2. I can’t see the other one well enough.

Hi Bill!

I've been selling these varieties for years and I know them well.  Your 1979 is a Type 2 and your 1981 is a Type 1.

They are easy to tell apart....the lint is in a different spot on each.

Beware of lint diagnosis. It’s a trap, in your dryer.
