Just Bob
Interesting story, but the article appears to have been written by 3rd grader, and cut and pasted by his little brother. Coinbuf
Woods020
I can’t even seem to find a silver dime when I metal detect. Clad stuff along with every can tab and piece of tin foil anywhere near me. Good for him. Edited January 19, 2022 by Woods020 Hoghead515
RWB
Nice find. Phony photo (posed). Difficult to think that anyone at Spink's could write so poorly, or make so many errors in one short, very repetitive article.

Woods020
I think ole Henry III wasn’t embalmed before he was buried on the coin. Looks like a skeleton.
Hoghead515
I love hearing stories like these. Very cool when people make finds like that. Now Im ready to find my treasure but I must be hunting the same places as @Woods020 The oldest thing Ive found was a 193× wheatie. The last digit was worn off. It was one of those rare DDO parking lot specials. Woods020 and Coinbuf
