Worn wheat penny 0

ok, i just found this today, it is a old wheat penny. Downfall, it is worn down to where no date or very many letters are visible. Wondering how I can find out year and if its a decent find.

That wheatie has been badly damaged. The date would not matter as it has no value over one cent

Looks like a dryer coin (they get stuck in dryers and it rolls them around that way). You will not be able to discern the date. No, it is not a decent find; it's just a brutalized penny. If you like it, of course, keep it. And before you ask, no, you should not send it in for grading. You'll save $30-60 by not doing so.

I'm with Jonathan and Greenstang....it looks like a dryer coin and has no value over 1 cent.
