What is the purpose / meaning of a PCGS 'PREMIER' label?  I have noted it being used on some bullion coins for the past few years, but I do not know the significance of the label for my 1955 Franklin half dollar.  Any ideas?

PCGS made a few different versions of the premier label, these were done special for companies like HSN.   They are nothing really special just a marketing gimmick.

'Bugs Bunny' is a variety caused by a die clash between the obverse and reverse dies.  The impact caused a marking outside of Franklin's mouth which resembles buck teeth - hence the 'Bugs Bunny' designation.

And while the "Bugs Bunny" clash marks are best known on the 1955 franklins, they can found on all date and mint Franklins, but they will usually only bring a premium on the 1955's.  Why?  The result of advertising hype and they fact they managed to get them listed in guides for awhile.
