Apparently there is a registry set just for these coins. 4 slots in the set. Both proofs and both circs. Not sure where they are getting their population numbers as there is 0 census info for any of them. Surely there are others submitting these.

Note to @Mohawk:

I heard it on good authority that your dumpster-diving dinosaurs have a thing for those bright, shiny P's.   😉

I wouldn't even be surprised one bit, Quintus.  They definitely have a thing for this one restaurant in my village, that's for sure.

Amazing. If you’ve looked at 2021 Uncirculated Sets, there are tons of pieces out there that would grab grades this high.

I wonder how the previous opinions might have changed in just 3 years?  Notice, zero WCD 69's available, but plenty Tuskegee are.

WOW blast from the past!

Just curious if the opinions have changed as time passes.  It appears to be the bipolar opposite outcome from the predictions back then.

How did you come to that conclusion? :screwy:    At the time this thread started there were very few (perhaps just the 5 that was claimed by the ebay seller) MS69 graded examples.   Today there are many more graded MS69 coins just as was expected, see below for the NGC pops (did not look up the pops at PCGS)

And prices have fallen just as predicted.

From where I sit things have gone exactly as most predicted, certainly not a polar opposite.

The pop report for the 2 show the thought to be more common one WCD actually grading fewer top pops.  That was not the consensus opinion.  Unless I am reading the thread wrong.  Not concerned with current pricing.  Future potential clearly favors one over the other.  The less popular release typically appears to retain the best future potential. Just curious if the contrarian view is as effective in coins as it is in stocks.
