Sorry about the picture, but the best I could get.  This is the exact same diameter as a nickel.  Has anyone seen this before or know how thus could happen?

Seen that  many times, it is known as a Texas Cent.  Easy to tell as the copper plating has been removed.

It is created by putting a cent between two pieces of leather and pounding it. Eventually the copper will fall off and the zinc core will expand. It is considered damage and has no value.
