Mystery Token

I've got a friend who really thinks he has a gold coin. He found it in a jar of buttons. I don't believe it's gold myself. To me it looks like some kind of child's token or something of that nature. I promised him I would ask on here to make sure anyways. Has anyone ever seen one of these?  I'm almost positive it is not gold but he seems to think differently. So I want to get opinions to settle this argument. Looks to me like something from Chucky Cheese or something. I could be wrong but..............lol  I never got no weight or anything from it. Just a pic at his house. Polish_20210804_193353741.jpg.5af4dc9e214bb52c30e5e52d02b59775.jpgPolish_20210804_193323861.jpg.5bc8e615f5d739f36bbf61fdd4b4a3ca.jpg

It is an arcade token from Aladdin's Castle, a chain of game rooms formerly found in malls.

There is a nearly inexhaustible supply of ignorance out there in the wild.

Token Mystery?

Precision, cutting-edge technology.  Not to mention that reeded edge chock full of lands and grooves.

What's that you say?  No reeding? Mystery solved. Don't even have to see the obverse or reverse sides. Every "modern" silver and gold [precious metal] coin, however worn down, bears reeding blackened by use over time.
