RJoe
I cannot figure out if this is a normal coin or not. Can't match it up to anything. I thought maybe someone could help me out. Especially interested in what seems to be an F above the fact. Thank you all.

Greenstang
Just normal circulation wear. It is impossible to have an extra letter or number appear on a coin (Except for a dropped letter) during the minting process. If it was an "F", it would be on all the coins that die produced which could be up to a million.

Oldhoopster
for a good explanation, go to http://www.error-ref.com Type dropped element in the search box Many new collectors can confuse random circulation marks with dropped elements.
